Adobe Photoshop Tutorial No. 4 : Old Picture Effect

Photography is one of my hobbies. Nature, old places, people, benches are some of my subjects. Old photos give me a nostalgic feeling. So I some times edit my images and give it an "old picture" effect.
You can try this too, and it's up to your creativity to enhance your own "old picture" project. Here's my sample:

1. Click Image > Adjustments > Desaturate.
2. Image > Adjustments > Photo Filter. Next select the Warming Filter (LBA) in the Use/Filter rollout, then adjust the Density up to 70% (or depends on your desired result)

3. Filter > Texture > Grain. Adjust the parameters (as shown in the image) make the Intensity level at 8, and the Contrast at 80. At the Grain Type rollout select Horizontal. Click Ok.

4. You can also add some torn or faded part, same with the image. Use brush tool. Click B (brush tool) and make your own torn parts.
