Taming the Heart
Sometimes, if not most of the time, our heart dictates our decisions. We Filipinos are known to be emotional.
Dealing with our emotions seems to be the hardest thing to do. Most specially if its about falling in love to a person who is special to you.
Its good to fall in love. its normal. its human. it inspires us to live one day at a time. but to fall in love to someone that will involve risk and public attention (could or maybe scandalous to the conservatives) is another thing.
going against the norms and what has always been morally mandated by society over the years is a battle that no person with the right mind will ever dare to take.
but God is always great. He already saw things coming into our lives. that is why, prior to life, He already planned out everything in our lives. One example is putting our hearts in the left side of our body. They said, our heart is in the left because it could never be right.
This is where our minds come in.
Mind over heart.
Difficult as it may seem, we dont really have any other options.
There are really times when our thoughts have to rule over our feelings.
