Being available means
to listen
not only to what
our friend is saying
but what
he is not saying
or trying to say
and cannot.
Sometimes we are unavailable because
we are afraid
of getting hurt.
So we withdraw
to our tower
fill the moat.And
full up
the drawbridge.
This fear is there
but we have to cope
with it
we have to be willing
to suffer
if a person
is understood
accepted and loved.
He will grow
as a person.
But understanding
is deeper than
knowlege
there are many people
who knows us
but very few
who understand us.
Understanding
is more
of the heart
than of the mind.
