bro ang fasting yung hindi ka kakain ng ilang araw it depends kung ilang araw ang kaya mo! remember si Jesus Christ nag-fasting ng 40 days..me..? every friday aq nag-fasting!

fasting is abstinence from food.
the greek word is nesteia-- a compound of ne(negative prefix) and esthio which means "not to eat".
so the basic root meaning of the word simply means "not to eat".

fasting puts things in proper focus.
fasting hels to express,to deepen and to confirm the resolution that we are ready
to sacrifice anything- to sacrifice ourselves.
fasting is an expression of our wholeheartedness.
fasting leads us to humility and compassion.
