Grasping cold fingers, refusing entry.

Misunderstanding and acts so clear
Scripts so fake and memories sincere
Polished-up looks and stony expressions
Graffited walls and broken possessions.

Superglued smile and dehydrated eyes
Learning to love the life you despise
Unshattered emotion with unwavering fear
Shadows contorting to hide that one tear.
