To you - my dear friend

A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world
if we didn't have a friend.

One who is always with me,
Never deserts me if my tears roll down
Shaking and horrifying my life,

He is my soul
Without whom my life is without foundation,
So I won’t ever imagine my life flowing
In a better way when he is not there

More than my brother
He cares of me in every restless moment
Gives me tips to cope with my frustration
Oh my friend I do not start my life
When you are not with me

My dream of future has started from him,
And my past was attached very much with him,
We both shared our sorrow with each other,
We heard a lot of criticism from people
But the God was always there to lead us

We both stand hand in hand now,
Promising each other never to leave,
We still hug like brothers
Oh my friend, be happy wherever you stay
When our ways part in different directions.

I know that miles away from each other
But we both miss and recall our past
How we were together
When the difficulty rose in our life like storm
But we were enough courageous and brave
Crossing each and every trouble with patience.

Time has come,
When it makes both of us cry bitterly,
I feel as if my soul leaves my body
And I am lying dead on the ground

Oh I will take next birth for you
I would be your little brother
Then we won’t leave each other
As we are made for each other.
