I w0uld rather have one r0se
From the garden 0f frend
Than t0 have the choicest fl0wers
When my stay 0n earth must end.
I w0uld rather have pleasant w0rd
In kindness said t0 me
Than flattery when the heart is still
And life has ceased t0 be.
I w0uld rather have a l0ving smile
Fr0m friends i kn0w are true
Than tears i kn0w my casket
When this world i've bid adiew.
Bring me all y0ur fl0wers t0day
Whether pink or white 0r red
Id rather have 0ne bl0ss0m n0w
Than a truckload when im dead!!

Her pride was stronger than her love.
Even as the little prince left her side,
she never asked him when he was to return
or why he was leaving.
It was probably because she knew
he would someday be back,
and also that he was leaving because of her.
But was her pride stronger than even her loneliness?
Before she arrived, the little prince would
pull his little chair along the planet,
tending his solitude by watching the sun set over and over.
But she couldn't have done even this, as she was held down by her roots.
Wasn't it a bit cruel, little prince?
You left her alone for too long with the excuse
that you knew not how to love her.
And so, when you returned, was she the same?
or had the long solitude changed her and withered her?
No, she probably greeted you with the same bright and strong smile,
never letting on how happy it made her to see you again.
You must remember, little prince.
Flowers do not live very long.
Can't you see that this is why their pride is so strong?
You must take good care of her and love her well while she is with you.
Because behind that bright and strong smile,
a hundred fears and insecurities lie.
