STRONG ENOUGH

i thought i was strong enough;
i thought i could control my emotions;
i thought holding back is the best thing to do;
i thought you feel the way i feel for you..

coz that's what you showed me;
that is how you made me feel,
we took it nice and slow..
it was amazing,
it felt like something real..

but now this dream has come to an end;
this feeling i have to get over with..
i thought i was strong enough;
but i'm hurting down deep..

they call me weak.
but I know that I am not.
i am strong, on the inside and out.
i am strong enough to bare the silence.
i am strong enough to walk away.
i am strong enough to love the unloved.
i am strong enough to be alone when all
i want to do is be with you.
i am strong enough to feel the pain inside,
yet let it only peek through on the outside.
i am strong enough to be myself while living
in a world of imposters.
i am strong enough to leave the people i love so dearly,
if it means for their own good.
i am strong enough to show that I care when others won’t.
I am strong enough to carry a world of
worries upon my shoulders.
i am strong enough to be alone when everyone
else has someone to run to.
i am strong enough to cry…
and no one can be stronger than that.

I am strong enough if i know that the Guidance of our Heavenly Father is in me coz i know that all things are possible within the Lord!
