i've emailed the Mig33 management before,and i ask them what's the story behind the name "mig33".here's their reply to me:

Hi,

The ‘mig33’ name stemmed from a brainstorm of characters, for a product name. It had to be simple, catchy and one that can be understood by users everywhere in the world. The name had to allow for a brand identity to adapt and change, as we build our user community to reach more and more countries. And so ‘mig33’ was created. Our team and early beta users liked it, and the rest is history.
