you are given eight jelly doughnuts.the doughnuts all weigh the same amount except for one which is heavier.you have a balancing scale at your disposal.what's the minimum number of weighings required for you to pick out the heavy doughnuts every time?

1) 4-----4
2) 2-----2
3) 1-----1

the explanation here is the same as the 3 coins and a fake of admin keen

1. weigh 3 dougnuts on each side of the weighing scale..

IF EQUAL
2. put the 2 doughnuts left... then their you can determine which is heavier..

IF NOT EQUAL
2. put the 2 doughnuts left.... then their we can determine if which doughnus is heavier... if they're still equal, now we can say the left doughnut is the heavier.
