A traditional finnish folk medicine derived from spruce trees may help heal hard to treat bedsores, a new study suggest,found that a traditional finnish remedy a salve made from norwegian spruce tree resin mixed with unsalted butter healed bedsores faster than a standard modern treatment. The tree resin salve is a folk remedy of the finnish lapland. It has been used for decades, and possibly centuries, for wound healing, but until now there had been no clinical trial evidence to back it up.
