I would like to suggest that there would be an IP address matching facility. Meaning, the server compares the current IP address being used to the last 2 or three logged IP's used by the merchant when logging in. If one of the previous IP's are not matching with the current one, the server will not log in the merchant ID even the password is correct. This way, it can add additional security in case the merchant's password is hacked.

Smile brilliant suggestion boss keen!!! but with this idea, isn't it hard for the mig33 server to monitor the IP address of each merchants?scratch and what if there's an instance that the merchant uses other pc?is this case possible? scratch Razz

Then, they should have a secret question to authenticate the merchant. Paypal has this facility.

this was good idea keen...with this it can protect us from any hackers or keyloggers...but i think it would be difficult for some merchants who have no permanent IP address like those who use internet cafe to access the site...

Yes Inspire, it would be difficult for merchants like you mentioned. But what Im trying to say is the last two IPs and a security question in case he use different computer. I think this will work assuming he uses his own mobile phone most of the time. Very Happy
