Four hugs a day!

Dr. Harold Voth is a senior psychiatrist at the Menninger Clinic, the leading institution says "Hugging is an excellent tonic". It has been scientifically demonstrated that although people who are mentally run-down and depressed are far more prone to sickness than those who are not, hugging can lift depression, strenghtening our bodies immune system.
Dr. David Bressler, director of pain control unit at UCLA Medical Center says "the type of hugging i recommend is the bear hug." He says both arms, face your partner and perform a full embrace. I tell my patients to use hugging as part of treatment."
To his words add the testimony of Dr. Robert Rynearson, chairman of psychiatry department at Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas. He says, "A hug can have an astonishing therapeutic effect by providing a sense of companionship and happiness".
Dagmar O'Connor is a psyciatrist and therapist. "All about the fine art of touching" she wrote, "it's a source of continous wonder to me that simply teaching and being touched can solve so many of our problems."
Dr. Bressler says, "sometimes i just take out my prescription pad and write a prescription for "four-hug-a-day": one at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bedtime."
Does it work? That's part of you will have to determine for yourself.
Even Jesus Christ when He is here on earth, He reached out and touched people. Thus, He gave them healing beyond the miracle of physical healing.
Today in many areas of the world, we are "handshakers". We are far more comfortable not getting so close to people. A lot of love can be expressed with firm handshake, looking someone straight in the eye with sincerity and meaning. Nonetheless, a score of medical authorities are saying, "an embrace, a touch, a hug or kiss goes far beyond a handshake in communicating on a deep personal level."

hahahhaha admin keen!!!! but i hug my pillow always... it is really nice tips but how to hug a person if not close to you... after you get a sampal. thank for sharing doc care... more power!!!

it was my habbit to hug my dear one,before when we stayed together,but unfortunately for eight ( 8 ) years i just hug my pillow and h0ping that 0ne day i might find my partner in life,then i can hug her as often as i/we want, ajijiji ,thank y0u for sharing cz admin care !!

I really believe hugging gives a positive outcome...coz I have applied it to my children. From the time they were babies and until now I still practice it to them... even to my teenaged son. And I see the effects on how they cope with their daily activities...like excelling in school.

Hugs are go0d for your heart, they lower blood pressure, and reduce stress, so make it a point to hug some0ne everyday.

I loved to hug and I loved being hugged.Sarap ng feeling nyahahaha...
