Are you a woman who gets plenty of sleep yet still feels overwhelmingly tired? If so, it is possible you're suffering from female fatigue. Female fatigue is generally a symptom of another medical condition. By understanding the common causes of female fatigue, it may be instrumental in finding a way to cope with it.

TIPS

Arrow Check for possible anemic conditions. Anemia is due to loss of blood. We know women during their reproductive years have a tendency to become anemic during menstruation. When the body cannot replenish red blood cells sufficiently to replace the loss, there is also a diminished supply of enriched oxygen that can lead to female fatigue. There are also female conditions like uterine fibroids and polyps that can also cause anemia and female fatigue.

Arrow Monitor for hypothyroidism. This is a thyroidal condition where the thyroid is considered to be underactive and not producing adequate hormones. When this occurs, a woman tends to feel sluggish and run-down.

Arrow Chronic or undiagnosed urinary tract infections (UTI) can cause female fatigue. When the infection goes untreated, it can become systemic and spread to the blood stream. Having any type of infection brewing in the body can cause you to feel fatigue and worn out.

Arrow Watch out for overuse of caffeine. A body that becomes overloaded with caffeine can have a reverse reaction to the stimulant, causing you to feel tired.

Arrow Undiagnosed heart conditions can cause female fatigue. When there is something going on with the heart, it can become easily stressed with the daily tasks of life. A heart that is not functioning properly will leave the woman feeling exhausted.

Arrow Allergic reactions to foods can be another cause of female fatigue. A body that is irritated by a food may leave you yawning more then normal.

Arrow Living with sleep apnea or any other sleep-related disorder is an obvious cause for female fatigue. Of course, having a sleep-related disorder will definitely contribute to daytime exhaustion.

Arrow Hormonal imbalances are yet another cause of female fatigue. This can leave you feeling depleted, something that is commonly observed in women that are menopausal and whose bodies are adjusting to changes in hormones.

SUGGESTION
Idea Monitor the duration of the symptoms. Then make an appointment with a doctor to have the cause properly diagnosed and treated.
