World's Dealiest Snakes

These are western taipans. the deadliest snake on the planet. The King cobra has nothing on these guys. 0.11 gram of its venom can kill about 100 humans. the world's most venomous land-snake.

Because of the remote nature of its habitat and the snakes own unwillingness to bite no one has actually ever died from an encounter with its fangs.



The King Brown is # 2 on our most deadly list. The older brown snakes are pretty much the same color all over ( usually medium brown), while younger brown snakes have a darker head with a lighter colored bar behind a black neck. They also have lots of reddish brown spots on their belly. It is a thin species and can grow to just over 2 yards long.

There are seven species of Brown Snake found throughout Australia . They have smooth scales and a small head with fairly large eyes. When annoyed, they may flatten their necks before striking.
