FLIRTING WITH FAILURE
The campus where i work now is small comparing to many big university campuses in the country. And in its minute size comes the rapid opportunities for information. Just one look, everyone gets hook.
Many in the campus have been a subject of nasty rumors to certain extent, scandals. And the muted walls of the campus remains a witness how information spreads so fast that in just a matter of minutes, everyone has a thing to say. Worse, the information is either added with plausible facts or less of it.
For the strong, they care less of it and simply dismiss it. For the weak, either they end their lives or run for comfort to trusted friends in the campus or for some, they simply disappear either for a while, could be forever. For the opportunists, they savor every information and spices it up with concoctions filled up with lies and more lies.
How people cope up with rumors and gossips is like one flirts with failure or just simply thrive through it.
But i pity those who flirts with failure.
They simply mess up their lives and misses the opportunity to better themselves amidst the fallings and failings of others.
For those who caused it, they are heartless and worthless.
And they claim even to be your friend. Cool
