my boyfriend has a friend that eventually became my bestfriend (zoom_gfx8) he is my haven when things get rough... i can cry like a child does...i can give him a bear hug with no malice...he knows me...we share ideas and even though we do not communicate...we let each other know we do care...a filial love...we can never be lovers for we are the best of friends...

I think It's depend on the situation..based on my experience... i choose my best friend but she betrayed me..

i heard that my ex- boy friend and my best friend
are lovers ..

is it because of jealousy? envy of time?
each of them has a special part/place in your heart, but in different levels.
so both parties must understand what's their place in the relationship.
your bestfriend must be happy for you too, because he knows that you're happy with your special someone, and he must knew it, that's the reason why he's your bestfriend. on the other hand, your partner must understand that before he crossed your path, you and your bestfriend are bonded like siblings.
