In your dreams

What if when you're sleeping,
The sadness that you had during that day,
Comes back to attack you in the form of a nightmare?
It haunts your unconscious mind
Grabbing hold of the expected sweet dreams
Squeezing the sweetness right out
Leaving you with an untold dream
Then it forms itself into a horrifying figure
Snatching up the dream to fill it with it's presence
You cant even stop it
You end up having a front row seat for a look into your sadness's eyes
And what you see is happiness
That, therefore, brings the theory
The feeling of sadness in you
Is the thing that brings the feeling of happiness
To sadness's eyes
The sadness that you had during that day,

In my dreams I am happy,
In my dreams I do not suffer,
In my dreams I am not depressed,
In my dreams I do not crave pain,
In my dreams I do not need to bleed,
In my dreams I do not cry,
In my dreams I am not afraid,
In my dreams I can breathe,
In my dreams I am not losing it,
In my dreams I do not wish for death,
In my dreams I am not alone,
In my dreams I am loved.

She rides the moon
I take the stairs
She would be happy to go blind
I would be scared
I say no to the promise
And embrace the pain
A light at the end of a tunnel
Can sometimes be a train
She waits on a wonder

Has songbirds in the morning

You must follow your dreams
You must follow wherever it leads.
Don't be distracted by less worthy leads.
Shelter it, Nourish it, Help it grow.
Hold your dream deep, down deep where dreams grow.
Follow your dreams, Pursue it with haste.
Life is too precious, too precious to waste.
Be faithful, Be loyal in all the day through
the dream that you follow will ultimately come true.
You must follow wherever it leads.

No where by thee my steps shall be,
