Prince you are just changing your TCP/IP address. Every PC or workstations have different Local IP Address but if you are interested in knowing your workstation main IP Address do the following procedure.
1. Go to Start
2. Run type cmd then enter
3. Now you are now on Command Prompt check this out
Example you want to trace ip address of www.prc.gov.ph
in command prompt type this:
C:\>tracert www.prc.gov.ph
4. Now you can see the whole scenario from your main computer to the website of www.prc.gov.ph
5. Press Esc if you want to stop.
NOTE: JUST A LITTLE NOTE, DON'T DO THIS FOR HACKING THERE ARE SOFTWARES THAT CAN TRACE YOUR IP AND EXACT LOCATION
Cheers
