Sometimes a heart knows things the mind cannot explain
I was upset and hurt
I ended our friendship
And was a careless mistake
I have felt somewhat lost
You are my dear friend
That I have grown to like and trust
Your friendship is a special part of me
Yes I am truly sorry for my stupidity
And believe me when I say I need you
I told you before that I do not ever want to conclude us
I hope our friendship will remain
And continue

They say that people make mistakes
I know that's what I did
Just tell me you forgive me
And you'll always be my friend.

I know I'm only hurting myself
I know that you don't care
But I want to share my feelings with you
And hear that you will always be there.

I wasn't asking for us to get serious
I just wanted a moment of fame
It's such an honor to be with you
But now I'm the one to blame.

I hope you keep me in your heart
You will forever be in mine
Maybe one day we'll work things out
If we just give it time.
