5 CONTACT LENS SAFETY TIPS

corneal health is essential in people who wear contack lenses,which is why safety guidelines should be rigidly followed. Safety tips include:
*avoid using colored,novelty,or" decorative"lenses unless they are prescribed and monitored by a professional eye care clinician.
*coloring in these contact lenses has been shown to reduce the ability of oxygen to reach the cornea.
*you have a significantly greater chance of developing corneal ulcers if you leave contact lenses in overnight.If you use extended or continously wear contact lenses,you should be especially alert to any eye changes such a redness,swelling,and dryness.
*good hygiene is essential to prevent eye irriatation or infection.Make sure you store and clean contact lenses in proper commercially preapared,sterile solutions.
*never wet your contact lens with your own saliva,which is full of potentially infection-causing micro organisms.
*never wear contact lenses beyond time limits recommended by manufactures or you increase risk of eye complications.

THE EYE IS THE WINDOW OF LIFE... THANKS FOR SHARING THE TIPS MY DEAR JEN. BUT I THINK CONTACT LENSES DO MORE DAMAGE TO THE EYES AS IT COMES IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE EYES. KUYAJH! BE CAREFUL, WE NEED A LEADER LIKE YOU!!
