Yes there will be noticeable reduction of connection speed but its worth the waiting. I personally recommend this software.

Unfortunately Hotspotshield apparently has now limited the bandwidth usage per PC to 3GB per 30 days. Meaning, if you exceeded your limit, you will get that cycling display of errors.

There is a way to trick Hotspotshield to "think" you are using different PC on different network. This is by changing your Ethernet MAC address. You can google how to change your MAC using Windows 7 in your case.
