A military helicopter burns after it crashed in Barangay Nagrebcan, Santa Lucia, Ilocos Sur in the Philippines. The helicopter was one of the aircraft circling the town during the ongoing encounter between the military and the communist New People's Army in the eastern barangays of Santa Lucia.

It is not yet clear what caused the helicopter to crash and there are no reports of any human casualties yet. While the unrest is confined to the eastern part of the town, it crashed in a western barangay

Widowmaker - that the trade mark of our Philippine jets and military helicopters. Most of the Philippine Air Force aircrafts are build during World War II, so what can we expect?
