Auto welcome text of moderator ?

I am 1st time user of moderator tools i admit it even fluding i dont know to use it.
Is auto welcome text in room is not good? When you use it in proper post to greet chatters those who enter the room. Specially when i am in duty to support team to help chatters.
I just want to clear it so that im not use it when i was in support team...

Auto welcome posting (using softwares) is tagged by admin team as flooding. You can get kicked if you do that.
