An Ideal Woman?

An Ideal Woman?
I go to the Philly Art museum every day
To gaze at one statue, what can I say,
A statue of the ideal woman of my dreams.
I'm in love with a woman of marble, it seems!
I stare at her nearly naked beauty in awe,
So beautiful she is in form I easily saw.
So perfect in every detail that I tremble,
Wanting to embrace that Italian marble.
'Tis but a wild dream of mine, I feel,
To find a real woman so totally ideal,
One that could even possibly compare
To that marble beauty standing there.
One day while on a bench by the stair
From where I adored my beauty so fair,
I dozed awhile, dreamed of her at night,
And when I woke, no one was in sight!
I suddenly heard a little rustling noise
And there on the bench, oh joy of joys,
Was the woman I loved, so clearly to see,
My woman of stone had come alive for me!
She looked at me, smiling, her eyes so blue,
I could hardly believe it was really true.
Then she reached out and embraced me,
She kissed and caressed my face with glee.
We spent that night locked hand in hand,
Walking, talking, enjoying the art so grand.
We kissed and embraced time after time;
She was a lover so fine, way beyond sublime!
We fell asleep in each other's grasping arms,
Never had I met a woman of such fine charms.
My most passionate lover it truly did seem,
She was so much more than just a dream.
Suddenly I awoke with a surprised start,
The guard shaking me, time to depart.
My woman gone, back to her rock pile,
And as I left, I thought I saw her smile!
