As I sit and let my thoughts drift
Calm and contentment take hold of my mind
‘Coz each time I let them adrift
They always come back to you, I find.

Our love came deep and swift
So special to have these feelings that bind
A perfect pair we are, it’s like a gift
That’s why I always think we are two of a kind.

i mean you was so real but yet so kind
the words you said made my heart melt
and you made sho i knew how you felt
you told me all about yo past
while you was tellin me mah heart was beatin fast
cause every word you recited sounded jus like mine
you said it like you was readin mah mind
the feelins you showed like it never hurt
having your heart drug through the dirt
but i kno deep down you feel the same as i do
hurtin deep down but playin it cool
they say your past makes you who you is
so why neither one of us is drug addicts
we both had to grew up to quick
sellin dope,ready to hit a lick
makin enough to at least eat
and have a place to sleep
life was so hard for the both of us
and i believe that why we both have lack of trust
but i wanna make this work between me and you
so jus tell me what i gotta do.....

I'll think about you until I fall asleep,
I'll think about you when I dream.
I'll think about you when I wake up,
and the whole day through,

I'll talk about you.
Whatever it is I do,
I'll wonder what you are doing too.
Just like I do every other day since I met you,

I pick up my pen to write you a poem,
But it's never good enough,
nothing could ever describe my love.
Nothing could compare to your smile,
your understanding, your eyes, your style.
I tired to paint you a picture,
but no combination of color,
could make that mixture.

All I can do is show,
and hope that you know,
that you are someone so special, I never thought I'd find.
