the noisy kids
There
was a man who entered a subway train together with his five children. The scene
before this was one of calmness and peace. Everyone was sitting quietly -
either reading their newspapers, or just relaxing. The moment the family
entered the train, the scene changed. The children were making a lot of noise
and running everywhere, and instantly the whole climate in the train became
chaotic. The man sat down and closed his eyes, apparently not conscious of the
situation. The children were shouting loudly and throwing things. They were
even grabbing people’s papers. It was really disturbing and yet the
father did nothing. Suddenly a man, who obviously couldn’t stand the
commotion anymore stood up and said to the father, “Sir, your children
are really disturbing a lot of people. I wonder if you could ask them to behave
themselves.” The man looked up and apologized, “Oh, you are right,
I guess I should do something about it. We just came from the hospital where
their mother died about an hour ago. I don’t know what to think, and I
guess they don’t know how to handle it either.”
Moral of the Story
We
make judgment on people and
circumstances depending on the limited information we have at the moment, and
how we perceive it. In some cases
we may be wrong, just like in the above story. We need to look at things from
every angle if we are to make good judgment. It has been said that we should first seek to understand people before we
have them to understand us. Understanding others will help us not to prejudge
them and may even create synergy.
Tips
of the day: Each day give something good to others.

Re: the noisy kids
Its very hard to please anyone!
Judgement always relies on the first instinct of the beholder!
But dont just judge, care to ask and listen coz u my never know what might happen even to you!
In a wink or two you will never know shower of blessings are pouring unto you!
God loves us more than we all know!
